The company: You’ll be working directly with Celeste, we’re a boutique talent outsourcing agency that partners with businesses around the world to build high performing remote teams.

We specialize in placing a wide variety of roles across Customer Success, Data Analysts and Operational Support within high growth companies.

The role: As a founding member of the Celeste team, the Recruiter will play an instrumental role in shaping the future of our growing business!

In this dynamic role, you’ll partner closely with our Co-Founder to lead impactful hiring initiatives, including end-to-end recruitment, employer branding and various strategic projects. You’ll spearhead efforts to build brand awareness in the market to engage new candidates while creating meaningful opportunities for connection, collaboration, and growth within the Celeste community. Together, we’ll cultivate a thriving ecosystem that not only attracts exceptional talent but also empowers them to succeed and make an impact.

In this role you will:

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for a variety of open roles; actively source, recruit, hire and help onboard candidates.
  • Partner directly with the Co-Founder to develop unique hiring strategies for each open position from candidate identification through close.
  • Engage with the existing Celeste contractors to create community, host team building events and support an inclusive environment. This includes in-person events throughout the year.
  • Source and identify qualified candidates from a variety of sources including: direct sourcing, referrals, and other creative, sourcing strategies to ensure a consistent top-of-the-funnel pipeline of qualified candidates. 
  • Build brand recognition  in the market and strong relationships with both active and passive candidates alike. 
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience by acting as a trusted guide throughout the recruitment process; work to continually improve and personalize our candidate experience.
  • Implement structured, competency-based interview plans with a focus on removing bias from the process.
  • Be data driven and routinely measure tool usage and ROI of sourcing platforms, vendors and productivity tools.
  • Maintain and manage applicant tracking system (we use JazzHR) to ensure accuracy in candidate profiles, data and pipelines.
  • Stay up-to-date on market and competitive trends to maintain competitive hiring practices.
  • Bring ideas to improve the way we work at Celeste; including: new tools, processes and better, more efficient ways of doing things.
  • Ad hoc projects to support ongoing business needs to continue making Celeste a success!

About you:

  • Legally eligible to work in the Philippines.
  • Strong fluency in verbal and written English.
  • As an independent contractor, you must have your own laptop / computer and secure, high speed internet access.
  • 4+ years in a Talent Acquisition / Recruiting role (or similar) hiring for global startups.
  • Strong proficiency in recruiting tools: JazzHR (ATS), LinkedIn or similar sourcing technology. 
  • Expertise: end-to-end recruiting experience, filling roles quickly and effectively, through innovative hiring strategies, while maintaining a high bar for quality.
  • Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of the Philippines talent market and familiarity with regional hiring best practices.
  • Candidate-Centric: Proven track record of delivering exceptional candidate experiences and fostering trust throughout the hiring process.
  • Adaptable: Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and excels at prioritizing and pivoting as needed.

  • Location: Work from home - 100% fully remote (from the metro Manila, PH market)
  • Working schedule: Full-time approx 30-40hrs hrs per week, NYC Eastern Standard Time (EST)
  • Hourly rate: PHP ₱450 starting rate per hour depending on experience
